The Mid North Community Passenger Network is a not-for-profit community organisation providing a transport service to the residents and communities encompassing the local government areas of Clare & Gilbert Valleys, Adelaide Plains Council, Regional Council of Goyder and Wakefield Regional Council and covers an area approximately 12,282 square kms.

Community Cars are located in each council region and are available to assist transport disadvantaged residents attend medical & health appointments locally or in metropolitan areas.

The cars are driven by volunteers, who freely choose to give their time, energy, skills and experience to help others.

Transport may also be arranged for shopping, banking, chemist, hairdresser appointments, visiting friends or social events (Conditions apply).

Travel to medical appointments

If you have a medical appointment and are unable to access other public transport services due to constraints then this service is available to you.

Phone and register, make your booking as soon as you have your appointment set. If some changes need to be made this usually allows plenty of time. It is never too early to book!

Travel for essential shopping

There is no criteria attached to accessing this service. It is a general public transport service. Bookings are essential. 

The bus will only stop for those people who have pre-booked, regardless of seat availability! If you require a carer to travel with you this will need to be approved and a seat allocation made at the time of booking.
